a start up media company designed for the internet that seeks to create visual stories that are thoughtful, deeply humanistic and rendered artistically. In the early stages, Athenaeum Production will focus on the short documentary. Its debut film project will be about a multi-month walk through America, utilizing the Appalachian Trail, and trying to meet all sorts of Americans where they're at—whether that's in a gas station, behind an outhouse, henhouse, under a truck, sitting on a bus, sitting on a tractor, riding a horse, castrating a horse, going to church, going to hell, or—well, you get the idea. All of this, of course, is happening during a period in history that might be known as the Decline and Fall of the American Empire. These are interesting times, in other words, and we aim to capture some of the humanity in them. Please follow Athenaeum Productions on your preferred social media platform for regular project updates.

We’re a collective of druggies, recreationalists, and misogynists, united by a passion for fucking around, in order to, "find out." Here’s who inspires us and how we please eachother.
Purpose fuels our preditorial nature
Every project starts with pure intention. We thrive in collaborative sabotage, and using our skills to spark catastrophic change—connecting drug lords, squatters, and even the homeless on occasion.
